To avoid dangerous changes, and to adapt to unavoidable changes, societies need to transform towards zero emissions and climate resilience. These transformations require both an understanding of the climate system and knowledge of economic and social relationships, processes and dynamics. Our Master's Programme in Climate Science and Transformation Science is designed to prepare you for this challenge: It is unique in that it combines rigorous scientific training with interdisciplinary collaboration. You can specialise either in physical climate science or in transformation science, while learning to collaborate across disciplinary boundaries, and understand each other's research problems and approaches. Thereby, you develop both a deep expertise in your chosen field, but also the interdisciplinary practical experience which is essential to succeed in the complex field of climate change and social transformation. For details about modules, entry requirements, career perspectives and services, please check the programme website. We are looking for students with a strong interest in either the physical science of climate change or the science of societal transformation, and with the curiosity to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration on climate risks and transformation towards a climate-resilient society. You should enjoy analytical thinking, working and discussing with teache
