About this programme
The Bachelor of Design in Architecture is the first of two degrees needed to work toward becoming an architect. Students wishing to qualify for professional recognition as architects must also complete the Master of Architecture (C04235), gain professional experience, and pass the Architectural Practice Examination before applying for professional registration with the NSW Architect Registration Board. The Bachelor of Design in Architecture program will equip you with the in-demand skills needed to plan and design the physical spaces of tomorrow. You will acquire to-the-minute theoretical understandings, invaluable industry insights and crucial technical abilities, and even get the chance to learn hands-on in cities like Berlin, Los Angeles, New York and Tokyo. A future-focused degree, this course will unpick your preconceptions about what is truly possible, helping you become a cutting-edge professional who pushes the boundaries of traditional practice. As a graduate, you will be ready to make your mark in a variety of creative and design careers or continue your academic journey with the Master of Architecture to become a qualified architect.
