About this programme
This program is an accelerated preservice secondary teacher education course. UNSW Secondary Teaching programs are designed to support graduate students in their transition into their first year of teaching and offers students the opportunity to learn innovative teaching methods that link practice with theory. Students of Secondary Teaching will gain advanced skills in effective unit and lesson planning, assessment and reporting design. Emphasis is placed on enhanced communication skills to ensure effective classroom communication, the practice of reflective teaching and the desire to continually improve professional knowledge and practice.
