About this programme
The associate degree gives students a firm foundation in both theoretical study and practical skills, with an emphasis on strong drafting skills as needed by the consulting industry. A typical study program includes: First year - construction engineering practice including white card, scaffolding, safe working at heights, engineering mathematics and mechanics, geotechnics, water infrastructure and drawing. Second year - civil, structural and building services drafting, structural analysis, project management and final year engineering project, as well as electives such as environmental engineering and water treatment.
