About this programme

The Diploma of Information Technology is a one-year full-time [or part-time equivalent] AQF level 5 qualification, which can telescope into a Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT, AQF 7) with two further years study. The BIT is described in detail in a separate course proposal. The Dip IT is designed to enable students to acquire a broad, coherent foundational and applied knowledge of the key theories and practices that underpin the profession of Information Technology, and to enable graduates to operate in dynamic business contexts.
