About this programme

High quality research lays the foundation for cutting edge innovation, technological advancement, economic growth and knowledge expansion. In the fields of science and engineering, such research has been responsible for discoveries that have transformed society and shaped the modern world discoveries such as space exploration, nanotechnology and biomedical engineering. Today, ongoing research continues to innovate across an increasingly wide range of areas, including renewable energy, clean water technologies, artificial intelligence, robotics and sustainable development. The Master of Research in Science and Engineering is a unique postgraduate research training degree that will equip you to complete a PhD within three years, if further research is your goal.
