Gain a world-class medical education and graduate at least 1 year earlier than traditional postgraduate medicine pathways. The Bachelor of Medical Science/Doctor of Medicine is a vertical dual degree which enables you to complete 2 years of tailored pre-medicine study before progressing directly into the 4-year Doctor of Medicine (MD) program.

- Prerequisites
- If you're in Year 12, you can enter the Doctor of Medicine through the direct entry pathway. For direct entry, you'll need: an adjusted ATAR 95 (or equivalent); Queensland Year 12 (or equivalent) General English subject (Units 3 & 4, C) and Mathematical Methods (Units 3 & 4, C); a competitive University Clinical Aptitude Test for Australia and New Zealand (UCAT ANZ) aggregate score from the year you apply; to attend a multiple mini-interview (MMI). Year 12 chemistry and/or biology are recommended for increased flexibility in studies but not required.
