Be part of the University of Saskatchewan’s well-established Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) program. This professional graduate degree prepares you to become an effective physical therapist ready to support individuals of all ages with their physical mobility and health. If you are passionate about supporting mobility, strength, pain reduction and improved function for people across the lifespan, physical therapy may be the ideal career for you. This full-time, 27-month program combines academic course work with 30 weeks of clinical placement experience. The program has been designed to offer students a high-quality educational experience that is consistent with national accreditation standards. Students will graduate with the entry-level requirements to obtain a license to practice physical therapy in Saskatchewan and Canada. The program places emphasis on the unique needs of Saskatchewan communities including Indigenous, remote, rural, and urban communities. Tuition listed covers the entire program with payments due at intervals throughout the program. In addition to tuition and student fees, students are responsible for travel and accommodation costs associated with clinical placements. These placements typically last 5-6 weeks each, with some located outside of Saskatoon, and are a required component of the MPT program.
