About this programme

To play a role in helping develop young minds is an awesome responsibility and a wonderful opportunity. From early literacy skills to socialization and learning through play, the early learning professional is actively involved in preparing pre-school children for the learning journey to come. The Bachelor of Early Childhood Curriculum Studies allows you to exit the program with a diploma in Early Learning and Child Care after successful completion of the first two years. Your courses cover child development, curriculum, communications, working with families and specialized programming. The first two years of the degree meet the certification requirements for Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification through Alberta Children’s Services.
