About this programme
Construction electricians install, repair and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures and control devices in buildings. They also plan these installations and maintain project records using digital tools. Electricity makes modern life possible. Electricians play a vital role in building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our world. Federal government projections show a risk of a shortage of electricians between now and 2033, which strengthens the career prospects of trained electricians. This program will prepare you for a career in this engaging and important field. You’ll learn from NAIT’s dedicated team of expert instructors. We'll guide you through the steps to apply on Tradesecrets. Apprenticeship intakes can fill quickly, so apply early to secure your spot and get started. Get the information and support you need to make the decision that's right for you. At NAIT, we honour and acknowledge that the land on which we learn, work and live is Treaty Six territory. We seek to learn from history and the lessons that have come before us, and to draw on the wisdom of the First Peoples in Canada. Only through learning can we move forward in truth and reconciliation, and to a better future together. Read more
