About this programme
Gasfitters install, repair, maintain and inspect gas-fired equipment ranging from residential furnaces to industrial boilers. Their work can take place indoors, underground, or outside, all year round. Gasfitting plays a key role in keeping our homes comfortable and our economy moving. Federal government projections show a moderate risk of a labour shortage for gasfitters between now and 2033, which could mean an abundance of career opportunities for qualified gasfitters. NAIT operates the largest pipe trades training facility in Alberta, which is carefully designed to recreate real-world working conditions. Your technical training will be delivered by our experienced teachers who are dedicated to your success. We'll guide you through the steps to apply on Tradesecrets. Apprenticeship intakes can fill quickly, so apply early to secure your spot and get started. Get the information and support you need to make the decision that's right for you. At NAIT, we honour and acknowledge that the land on which we learn, work and live is Treaty Six territory. We seek to learn from history and the lessons that have come before us, and to draw on the wisdom of the First Peoples in Canada. Only through learning can we move forward in truth and reconciliation, and to a better future together. Read more
