About this programme
Explore how identity, power and culture shape everyday life. You will look at gender alongside race, class, sexuality, age and ability to understand inequality and imagine better futures. Courses bring in Indigenous and global perspectives, local and international issues, and real examples of activism and community change. The Gender Studies Seminar helps you connect Gender Studies learning to real career options. You’ll meet faculty, alumni and community speakers, explore roles in social justice and non-profit work, and build practical skills for jobs or grad school. It’s a hands-on look at where a Gender Studies degree can take you. Build friendships, find your people and grow alongside classmates through student groups and communities that help you feel at home.
