Join a performance-intensive program as a singer or instrumentalist, with 24-hour access to individual practice studios and composition labs. Grab the spotlight and showcase your talent as you learn critical skills in musical training. Perfect your performance through our ensembles, composition program and collaborations with community groups and the ULethbridge Conservatory of Music. The Department of Music offers the long-standing Music at Noon concert series, featuring guest artists from across the region and around the world, along with student performance opportunities in the end-of-semester Studio Showcase. You have full access to co-operative education , international exchanges , independent and applied studies as well as volunteer opportunities . ULethbridge is the only university in Alberta to offer co-operative education to all majors, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Participate and get involved in a dynamic season of recitals, concerts, masterclasses, internships and competitions from local to international levels. We offer competitive scholarships and awards for students to focus on special projects, gain real-world experience and hone their talent through research and artistic creation. Some of these careers require additional education. Students may also choose to continue their education at the MMus, DMA or PhD levels. ​For admission, Canadian high school students in Alberta must have completed five of the following courses with a minimum 65% average across them:
