About this programme
The Master of Health Ethics degree program will help students develop the skills needed to identify and analyze ethical issues in health care and in the life sciences, and to propose solutions to these issues as they arise in the clinical, research, and policy contexts. Students will gain a basic knowledge of the functioning of the health system and will have the opportunity to design and carry out a research project. Students admitted to the Master of Health Ethics program are assigned as supervisor upon admission. Applicants should feel free to contact faculty members in the Centre for Bioethics to find out more about their research interests. Note: All figures are in Canadian dollars and subject to change. Fees are approved by the University’s Board of Regents. In the event of a discrepancy between the fees approved by the Board and those published on this website, the fees approved by the Board will prevail. Financial policies are enforced through the Department of Financial and Administrative Services. For the complete and official list of all fees and charges, visit www.mun.ca/finance/fees/ . MHE: Two scholarships awarded per year worth up to $6,000/year for two years. (Note: Full-time, thesis-route students are eligible for additional funding)
