About this programme

The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Applied Behaviour Analysis - Autism is the first program of its kind in Western Canada. The certificate is for students with existing Bachelor's degrees who only need the verified course sequence required to become a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). The post-baccalaureate certificate provides the required course work to qualify for the examination to become a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). Students may use the post-baccalaureate certificate program as a stepping stone to graduate studies. You'll also learn the philosophical concepts of behaviour analysis, developing the essential abilities needed as a professional behaviour analyst. In this 18-credit program, you'll gain the skills to help make you indispensable as an ABA professional, with the program coursework spread across four terms. You'll take courses in vital areas, including single-subject research, principles of behaviour, procedures for behavioural change, ethics, professional standards, behavioural assessment and positive behavioural support. Find out about your program of interest and learn about upcoming events, workshops, virtual and in-person campus tours. For more information about this two-year post-baccalaureate program, contact us today. Plan ahead with this calendar of important program information sessions and open houses. Every student must apply to CapU through EducationPlannerBC (EPBC), a website for applying to universities and colleges across British Columbia.
