About this programme
Auto body technicians repair and restore damaged motor vehicle structures and finishes. Auto body techs play a crucial role in keeping vehicles on the road in the province, which keeps Alberta, and its economy, moving. NAIT’s Auto Body Technician program combines paid work experience with in-class learning. Completing the program will earn you a Journeyperson Certificate, which is a qualification that will make you stand out to employers. Students train at the Suncor Energy Centre for Piping Systems Technology at NAIT’s Patricia Campus. We'll guide you through the steps to apply on Tradesecrets. Apprenticeship intakes can fill quickly, so apply early to secure your spot and get started. Get the information and support you need to make the decision that's right for you. At NAIT, we honour and acknowledge that the land on which we learn, work and live is Treaty Six territory. We seek to learn from history and the lessons that have come before us, and to draw on the wisdom of the First Peoples in Canada. Only through learning can we move forward in truth and reconciliation, and to a better future together. Read more
