Established in 1983, the Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Mechanical and Aerospatiace Engineering (OCIMAE) combines the research strengths of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ottawa and the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University.
