About this programme
Psychology is the study of human thought and behaviour. The discipline covers a range of topics, including how we think and process information, how our brain functions, how we develop over time, how others can influence our behaviour, and mental health and wellness. Langara College has a wide selection of psychology course offerings. Our courses range from surveys of fundamental concepts to in-depth investigations of human behavior. The Langara Associate of Arts in Psychology is a two-year program designed to offer focus and direction to prospective psychology majors and minors. When successfully completed, the general and specific requirements will prepare students for entry into the third-year level of most university psychology programs. If you have questions about course planning or transferring to university, view our resource page or email the psychology student advisor at psychology [at] langara.ca (psychology[at]langara[dot]ca) .
