About this programme
Please visit the International application deadline page to find out when applications may be available. The Associate of Arts Degree in Communications enhances your writing, speaking, communication and interpersonal skills to help you excel in careers in communications, business, government, marketing, media, publishing and public relations. According to B.C.'s Labour Market Outlook, careers in public relations, advertising and marketing are on the rise, with over 8,100 new jobs predicted from now until 2035. Similarly, careers in the writing field are listed as a high-opportunity occupation with over over 1,600 new writing jobs predicted from now until 2035. Associate degrees take two years to complete and concentrate on one area of study. Put your skills to work by joining the optional Co-operative Education Program, which alternates semesters of study with paid, full-time work in your field. To participate in Co-op you need to plan two semesters in advance, so we strongly recom
