Bachelor of Applied Health in Paramedicine

About this programme

The Paramedicine degree program combines occupational content provided by the Paramedicine diploma programs at Holland College (or any two-year CMA-accredited paramedicine program) with foundational science courses, senior specialized courses in the life sciences, and advanced capstone paramedicine courses at the University of Prince Edward Island. Our paramedicine degree program is designed for paramedics looking to enhance their science knowledge as well as their research and communication skills, thus increasing access to post-graduate opportunities (e.g., Master's degree programs), improving job prospects, and opportunities in advanced practice and health care leadership. UPEI's Paramedicine degree recognizes your paramedicine diploma experience, and is built directly on PCP/ACP diploma training. Advance your role, influence, and scope of practice by focusing on applied communication, leadership, and decision-making skills. Turn your paramedicine diploma into a university credential designed for career advancement— UPEI's Paramedicine degree program .
