Build a strong foundation in all aspects of biology with maximum flexibility. Students can choose courses to match their interests giving them the ability to tailor their education. The program involves extensive field and laboratory experiences. Graduates have gone on to successful careers in medicine, veterinary medicine, medical genetics, university, elementary and high school teaching, dentistry, wildlife biology, physiotherapy, pharmacy, biotechnology, chiropractic, optometry, microbiology, conservation and land management, marine biology, toxicology, bioengineering, molecular biology and more. Bachelor of Science majors have specific first year course requirements. It is strongly recommended that students become familiar with the prerequisite requirements for these courses before applying for admission.
