Regenerative Agriculture

About this programme

TRU’s Regenerative Agriculture program is the first of its kind in British Columbia. Designed for aspiring and current farmers, ranchers and changemakers, this program blends practical experience with academic knowledge to help you build a resilient, sustainable future in agriculture. Learn by doing on host farms and ranches that align with your interests — from beef, sheep and poultry to greenhouse vegetables, fruit and berries. In the classroom and online, you’ll gain a strong foundation in business strategy, financial management, marketing and human resources. You’ll also explore natural resource science topics like soil health, biodiversity, grazing and riparian management. Whether you’re starting your first farm, diversifying an existing operation or shifting careers, this program equips you with the tools to lead in regenerative agriculture and strengthen community food systems. Choose from farm types and agricultural enterprises that align with your personal goals. TRU’s Host Farm program offers rent credits, enabling skill-building while offsetting living expenses. Regenerative agriculture courses at TRU combine hands-on farm training with applied learning in sustainable agriculture and business management. Students gain practical experience in soil health, biodiversity, grazing systems and riparian management, while also building essential agriculture business skills in marketing, finance, human resources and enterprise planning. The tuition calculator provides an estimated amount for informational purposes only and excludes fees, textbooks and materials. Act
