About this programme

Are you interested in how species and populations respond and adapt to the changing world? Do you wonder how the biodiversity around us has evolved and how it is maintained? How do new adaptations and even new species evolve? Or do you want to influence how conservation strategies are prioritised in future? The Master's Programme in Ecology, Evolution and Biodiversity conservation (EEB) is all this. EEB offers a diverse and multidisciplinary perspective on biology, from genes to populations and species, and from individuals to communities and overall biodiversity. The programme offers three thematic areas: ecology, evolutionary biology and biodiversity conservation. You can choose to follow studies suggested in these areas or combine them to best fit your own interests. You can also complement your studies with courses from related master's degree programmes.
