Eläinlääketieteen kandiohjelma Helsingin yliopistossa on ensimmäinen askel eläinlääkäriksi. Kuusivuotinen kokonaisuus yhdistää kandi- ja lisensiaattivaiheen, ja saat valmiudet diagnosoida ja hoitaa eläimiä, ehkäistä tauteja sekä toimia elintarvikehygienian ja ympäristöterveyden tehtävissä. Helsinki on Suomen ainoa eläinlääketieteen koulutuspaikka. Tutkinto rakentuu One Health -ajattelulle: eläinten, ihmisten ja ympäristön terveys liittyvät toisiinsa.
