About this programme
On the master's level within Russian Language and Literature , Russian is studied as a foreign language. However, prior knowledge of Russian is required as is presupposed by a Bachelor’s degree in Russian language. The courses are taught in Russian. Master's level studies include both theoretical courses (lexicology, stylistics, history of the Russian language) and practical seminars (language of mass-media, translation, among others), as well as various special courses on linguistic and literary themes, and specifically on the teaching of Russian as a foreign language. Knowledge of Swedish is not required prior to admission, but language courses in Swedish are mandatory for all foreign students.
