The course is part of mechanical engineering studies. Content of the course: Advanced procedures, processes, materials, software and equipment of additive manufacturing (AM, 3D printing). Advanced approach to product design in AM, AM material properties and post processing. Fundamentals of phenomena occurring in AM processes, simulation and optimization of them and process control of AM. Many industrial cases with large background of them. Cost estimation, business potential and markets in AM. Advanced future trends and potential of additive manufacturing.
