About this programme

Preparedness and Resilience supports the university's strategic goals by providing international master's-level education that responds to global societal changes. The programme trains experts who understand the broad, multi-stakeholder and democratic decision-making nature of resilience and preparedness, and who are able to operate, lead, guide and coordinate these networks, as well as analyze and anticipate developments related to resilience and preparedness and respond to them strategically. Graduates are placed in public administration organisations, companies and associations. In addition to supporting public organizations in their transformation, graduates of the program can support business development from a preparedness and resilience perspective, as the studies strengthen and develop expertise that identifies and manages resilience and preparedness networks formed by public and private sector actors. The programme is located in the academic unit of management, in the field of administrative sciences. The core of the programme is in social sciences, but preparedness and resilience are approached in a multidisciplinary manner.
