About this programme
Svolto in lingua inglese, questo Corso di laurea magistrale prepara ingegneri e ingegnere con solide conoscenze tecniche e, orientate al design, nelle aree dell'ingegneria elettrica, informatica e meccanica. Laureate e laureati sono in grado di progettare, implementare e gestire dispositivi e sistemi con un'elevata integrazione tra parti meccaniche ed elettroniche. L'obiettivo principale del programma è fornire una preparazione interdisciplinare, consentendo alle ingegnere e agli ingegneri meccatronici di integrare tecnologie all'avanguardia - come moderni sensori, attuatori elettronici e azionamenti elettrici - in un progetto elettromeccanico, controllato in tempo reale da computer embedded. Questi sistemi rispondono alle crescenti esigenze di settori industriali tra cui automazione, manifattura, energia, robotica e automotive. Alle studentesse e agli studenti iscritti a questo Corso di laurea magistrale viene offerta la possibilità di candidarsi a un doppio titolo T.I.M.E . – Top International Managers in Engineering, con diversi atenei e politecnici di rinomata fama internazionale, in Europa e Asia . Al termine del percorso di doppio titolo, studentesse studenti otterranno la Laurea magistrale Unipd e un Master’s Degree rilasciato dall’Ateneo ospitante.

- Bachelor diploma (or equivalent) A minimum three-year bachelor’s degree , preferably in the field of: Mechatronics Engineering Industrial Engineering (e.g. mechanical or electrical engineering) Information Engineering, (e.g. electronics or computer science engineering) Credit will be given to candidates, who have covered the following specified list of subject areas during their prior studies: Control Systems Theory Mechanics (of machinery) Electrical Science Electronics Electric Machines and Drives (or Actuators) Computer Science (or Programming) Other degree programmes in the field of engineering can be considered for admission, if they cover the subjects mentioned above . General evaluation criteria : GPA Transcript (in line with the prerequisites mentioned above) CV Interviews Candidates might be asked to participate in an interview, should the Admission Committee have any questions on their background or preparation.
