About this programme
Protezione dell’ambiente e gestione del territorio a favore di uno sviluppo sostenibile, sono al centro di questo corso magistrale, unico del settore in Italia erogato in inglese, che prepara professionisti in grado di progettare e gestire soluzioni ingegneristiche a minimo impatto nei confronti del contesto sociale e fisico-ambientale. Grazie a conoscenze scientifiche e professionali che riguardano le interrelazioni tra i diversi processi fisici, biologici e chimici che intervengono nei sistemi ambientali complessi, saprai progettare opere finalizzate al trattamento e smaltimento dei residui e rivolte alla difesa del territorio dai fenomeni estremi, saprai prevenire situazioni di degrado e di rischio per l'ambiente, valutare e controllare la sicurezza del territorio e la qualità ambientale garantendo la salvaguardia delle risorse naturali, operando sia in contesti pubblici che privati. Alle studentesse e agli studenti iscritti a questo Corso di laurea magistrale viene offerta la possibilità di candidarsi sia a un programma di doppio titolo in Environmental Engineering con la rinomata Tsinghua University (Cina) che l’opportunità di partecipare ad un doppio titolo T.I.M.E. , con diversi atenei membri tra Europa e Asia . Al termine del percorso di doppio titolo, studentesse e studenti otterranno la laurea magistrale in Environmental Engineering (Unipd) e un Master’s Degree rilasciato dall’Ateneo ospitante. - Bachelor diploma (or equivalent) A minimum three-year undergraduate degree (or equivalent) preferably in: Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering Other degree programmes can be considered for admission, if they cover the following subjects in the field of environmental engineering : Solid Mechanics and Construction Sciences Soil Mechanics and Geotechnics Sanitary Engineering and Related Processes Hydraulics and Hydraulic Constructions Hydrology Apart from these, knowledge in basic subjects such as Mathematical Analysis, Algebra, Chemistry, Physics, Numerical computation, is required as well.
