About this programme

The aim of the doctoral study programme is to prepare highly qualified specialists for scientific research, organizational and academic work in the environmental engineering and water management. The acquired knowledge enables problem solving opportunities within the interdisciplinary environmental issues.The following research areas are offered in the study programme:- Soil water balance and modelling of hydrological processes;- Assessment of agricultural run-off quality, measures for the pollution control and mitigation;- Greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions;- Wastewater management;- Rainwater management;- Protection of cities against the flooding.
