Eligibility Criteria General Eligibility Requirements • Applicants are required to be in possession of appropriate qualifications to demonstrate that their standard of English is satisfactory. Admission to the Doctoral programme may be offered on the condition that applicants obtain the necessary proficiency qualifications before beginning their studies: o a Grade C or better in MATSEC English at Intermediate Level (or equivalent) or o a Grade C or better in MATSEC English Advanced Level (or equivalent) or o Academic IELTS with at least 7.0 overall, and a minimum of 7.0 in each element of the test or o Successful completion of a Level 7 programme in which English was the primary language of instruction and assessment. Applicants will be expected to possess the following digital skills: a) Digital research skills, including competences related to finding, evaluating, analyzing for credibility, citation and referencing data sources. b) Digital skills related to quantitative and qualitative data representation, organization and analysis. c) Digital skills related to networking and communication d) Digital skills related to research project management e) Digital skills related to the publishing of research outcomes. • Any qualification required for this programme needs to be formally recognised or evaluated by MFHEA before applying. • Official academic transcripts (translated into English, if applicable) must be submitted with the application. • Applicants must submit a letter o
