Entry requirements

Prerequisites

Applicants are not required to hold a formal qualification in Maltese prior to entry. However, since the programme is delivered primarily in English, with Maltese being the target language of learning, applicants must have a basic level of proficiency in English to enable effective communication with tutors and peers during the learning process. Applicants are therefore required to demonstrate English language proficiency at MQF Level 1 or equivalent, sufficient to follow instructions, participate in classroom activities, and receive feedback. This requirement ensures that all learners share a common language of communication during the immersive Maltese language learning process. No reliance is placed on a learner’s mother tongue or on any other language not commonly shared within the learning environment.
