Entry requirements

Prerequisites

Course participants applying for the course or for the stand-alone CPD modules are required to be in possession of 1. an MQF Level 3 (minimum Grade 5 or C) in Maltese, and English Language awarded by MATSEC or an equivalent examination body recognised by the Institute for Education; AND 2. a minimum of one of the following: a. a Bachelor degree in Education (MQF Level 6 with a minimum of 180 ECTS, or equivalent) together with relevant experience in an educational setting; b. a Bachelor Degree (MQF Level 6 with a minimum of 180 ECTS, or equivalent) with 3 years relevant experience in an educational setting; c. A Master’s Degree (MQF Level 7 with a minimum of 90 ECTS, or equivalent) and a Permanent Teacher’s Warrant together with relevant experience in an educational setting.
