- Domestic Students: Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident; Be aged 16 years or older Hold an NZ Certificate of Equine Skills Level 2; OR have a basic riding experience and be accessed by Byerley Park staff and have a keen interest in the equine industry, and successfully attend an interview; International Students: Students must be 18 plus Have an NZCEL Level 3 General, Workplace or Academic or IELTS General or Academic score of 5 with no band score lower than 5 Hold an NZ Certificate of Equine Skills Level 2; OR have a basic riding experience, be accessed by Byerley Park staff, have a keen interest in the equine industry, and successfully attend an interview.
