Prerequisites

To enter the Master of Engineering Studies at UC you will need to have completed one of the following from an Aotearoa New Zealand university: Bachelor of Engineering with Honours with First or Second Class Honours Postgraduate Certificate in Engineering with a GPA of 5 or more Bachelor of Science with Honours with First or Second Class Honours in appropriate subjects. Relevance and standard of previous study is the main criteria for approval. You must have completed both the academic and non-academic requirements of your prerequisite degree. This includes practical work days, work reports, a workshop training course, and a first aid certificate. The programme of study must be approved. If you are an international student and need help meeting these requirements, study UC's Pre-Master's One Semester programme to gain entry into this degree. If you are a domestic student and need help meeting these requirements, study UC's Diploma in Advancing University Studies to gain entry into this degree.
