Prerequisites

You can apply for this programme if you meet the below three admission requirements. General admission You are at least 16 years of age on the programme start date for the semester (or provide a completed Early Release Exemption form), and meet one of the following requirements: Achievement of NCEA Level 2 including: 8 Literacy credits at Level 2 or above; and 14 Numeracy credits at Level 1 or above Or An equivalent of the above Or Successful completion of an approved qualification at Level 3 or above with a relevant pathway. Discretionary admission If you do not meet any of the above options, and you think you have what it takes to complete this programme, you can apply for discretionary admission. Your application may be accepted if you can demonstrate a good chance of success. Approval of discretionary entrance applications will be at the discretion of the Relevant Academic Authority. English language admission requirements International applicants must provide evidence that they have the necessary English language proficiency and are required to have an International English Language Test System (IELTS) Academic band score of 5.5, with no individual band score lower than 5.0 from one test taken in the last two years, or PTE (Academic) score of 42 with no band score lower than 36.
