- Prerequisites
- Graduates who have achieved a recognised bachelor's degree in a health-related industry with a minimum B grade (65%) in the third year of their qualifying degree will be considered for this programme. Candidates are required to indicate in their application whether they have been convicted of a criminal offence. Candidates should be aware that, under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 some types of criminal convictions may result in the Nursing Council of New Zealand declining a candidate's application for registration in the registered nurse scope of practice. Similarly, some types of criminal convictions may result in difficulty to obtain clinical experiences and therefore meet the requirements to pass the programme.
