Scenography and artistic event Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Decorative Arts and Design Bucharest Program description The scenography section has the task of training the future set and costume creator for theatre, film and artistic event. Scenography is a language with an important weight in the context of the artistic event, and the scenographer resumes, in specific historical, cultural and technical conditions, the Renaissance ideal of the universal artist, who can express himself in any of the genres of art, in an emotional and convincing way. The performance in the field of theater scenography, film and television scenography and scenography for animation shows (puppets) rises to international standards; over time, the Romanian school has given scenographers with a national and world reputation to the performing arts. After 1989, the Department of Scenography was revitalized with new specialists, which favored the establishment of new specializations: film and TV scenography, puppetry and event scenography.
