Romanian Language and Literature - Modern Language and Literature Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Letters CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description Romanian Language and Literature - Ukrainian Language and LiteratureThe Romanian Language and Literature Bachelor program comprises a series of courses taught by renowned professors of the field such as Romanian Literature (Old, Premodern, Modern, 20th century and contemporary literature), Literature theory and a rich offer of optional courses. After graduating from this program, the student can choose to follow a Master program or enter the workforce with a variety of options: professor of Romanian language and Literature in Romania or abroad, book editor, magazine editor, news producer / presenter, cultural manager, cultural mediator, etc. The specialization can be combined with Ukrainian as a segment B language. The main goal is to train up teachers, researchers in philology, translators, interpreters, reviewers, civil servants, councillors, employees in multinational corporations, members of the diplomatic corps, journalists, reporters. The curriculum includes theoretical courses such as: Ukrainian culture and literature, Phonetics, Morphology, Syntax as well as numerous practical courses: Conversation, Translation and Back Translation, Grammar Exercises, Essay Writing.
