Romanian Language and Literature - Modern Language and Literature Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Letters CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description Romanian Language and Literature - Japanese Language and LiteratureThe Romanian Language and Literature Bachelor program comprises a series of courses taught by renowned professors of the field such as Romanian Literature (Old, Premodern, Modern, 20th century and contemporary literature), Literature theory and a rich offer of optional courses. After graduating from this program, the student can choose to follow a Master program or enter the workforce with a variety of options: professor of Romanian language and Literature in Romania or abroad, book editor, magazine editor, news producer / presenter, cultural manager, cultural mediator, etc. The specialization can be combined with Japanese as a segment B language. The Japanese Language and Literature section is structured over six semesters and its aim is the study of Japanese language, literature and culture, offering both general knowledge and specialized knowledge. At the end of the three years of study, the students will have acquired the abilities needed for either postgraduate research, or a career in teaching, in the field of interpretation and translation, or in diplomacy.
