Language and Literature - Modern Language and Literature Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Letters CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description French Language and Literature - Ukrainian Language and LiteratureThe Bachelor program in French Language and Literature provides a comprehensive survey of French culture and civilisation, the in-depth practical and theoretical study of French language, as well as the analysis of the great literary works and literary periods. Graduates of the program have the opportunity to work as teachers, join the numerous francophone companies in Transylvania or pursue a career in the cultural field. The specialization can be combined with Ukrainian as a segment B language. The main goal is to train up teachers, researchers in philology, translators, interpreters, reviewers, civil servants, councillors, employees in multinational corporations, members of the diplomatic corps, journalists, reporters. The curriculum includes theoretical courses such as: Ukrainian culture and literature, Phonetics, Morphology, Syntax as well as numerous practical courses: Conversation, Translation and Back Translation, Grammar Exercises, Essay Writing.
