Language and Literature - Modern Language and Literature Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Letters CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description French Language and Literature - Japanese Language and LiteratureThe Bachelor program in French Language and Literature provides a comprehensive survey of French culture and civilisation, the in-depth practical and theoretical study of French language, as well as the analysis of the great literary works and literary periods. Graduates of the program have the opportunity to work as teachers, join the numerous francophone companies in Transylvania or pursue a career in the cultural field. The specialization can be combined with Japanese as a segment B language. The Japanese Language and Literature section is structured over six semesters and its aim is the study of Japanese language, literature and culture, offering both general knowledge and specialized knowledge. At the end of the three years of study, the students will have acquired the abilities needed for either postgraduate research, or a career in teaching, in the field of interpretation and translation, or in diplomacy.
