Language and Literature - Modern Language and Literature Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Letters CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description Russian Language and Literature - Ukrainian Language and LiteratureThe Russian language and literature program offers students the opportunity to explore the Russian language through the practical courses (conversation, grammar, and translations), the theoretical courses of contemporary Russian (phonetics, lexicology, morphology, syntax) and the Russian literature, culture and civilization courses. Graduates of this program can pursue a career in teaching and research, as well as translation, editing and redaction work.The specialization can be combined with Ukrainian as a segment B language. The main goal is to train up teachers, researchers in philology, translators, interpreters, reviewers, civil servants, councillors, employees in multinational corporations, members of the diplomatic corps, journalists, reporters. The curriculum includes theoretical courses such as: Ukrainian culture and literature, Phonetics, Morphology, Syntax as well as numerous practical courses: Conversation, Translation and Back Translation, Grammar Exercises, Essay Writing.
