Language and Literature - Modern Language and Literature Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Letters CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description Russian Language and Literature - Japanese Language and LiteratureThe Russian language and literature program offers students the opportunity to explore the Russian language through the practical courses (conversation, grammar, and translations), the theoretical courses of contemporary Russian (phonetics, lexicology, morphology, syntax) and the Russian literature, culture and civilization courses. Graduates of this program can pursue a career in teaching and research, as well as translation, editing and redaction work.The specialization can be combined with Japanese as a segment B language. The Japanese Language and Literature section is structured over six semesters and its aim is the study of Japanese language, literature and culture, offering both general knowledge and specialized knowledge. At the end of the three years of study, the students will have acquired the abilities needed for either postgraduate research, or a career in teaching, in the field of interpretation and translation, or in diplomacy.
