Language and Literature - Modern Language and Literature Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Letters CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description Italian Language and Literature - Japanese Language and LiteratureThe Italian Language and Literature program offers courses of Italian language, literature and civilization, curricular and extracurricular activities in the field of specialized and literary translation, exchange opportunities to universities in Italy and Europe, intensive modules for beginners. Students of Italian will gain profound knowledge and critical analysis capacity in the field of Italian Literature, Linguistics and Philology, as well as the capacity to use the Italian language in written and oral contexts, in a variety of professional settings.The specialization can be combined with Japanese as a segment B language. The Japanese Language and Literature section is structured over six semesters and its aim is the study of Japanese language, literature and culture, offering both general knowledge and specialized knowledge. At the end of the three years of study, the students will have acquired the abilities needed for either postgraduate research, or a career in teaching, in the field of interpretation and translation, or in diplomacy.
