Language and Literature - Modern Language and Literature Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Letters CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description French Language and Literature - German Language and LiteratureThe Bachelor program in French Language and Literature provides a comprehensive survey of French culture and civilisation, the in-depth practical and theoretical study of French language, as well as the analysis of the great literary works and literary periods. Graduates of the program have the opportunity to work as teachers, join the numerous francophone companies in Transylvania or pursue a career in the cultural field. The specialization can be combined with German as a segment B language. The department for German studies in Cluj-Napoca is internationally recognized, where courses are taught exclusively in German. Many different projects are carried out with students and scientific conferences are organized annually. The department also has its own publication series. Students are offered a number of scholarship opportunities. In addition, the work of the nine local lecturers is supported by guest lecturers from the DAAD and the OeAD.
