Language and Literature - Modern Language and Literature Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Letters CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description Japanese Language and Literature - Spanish Language and LiteratureThe Japanese Language and Literature section intends to answer the necessity of diversifying the academic offer, a need acutely felt in the Transylvanian space, which previously lacked the possibility of systematically and thoroughly studying an Asian language and culture. The Japanese Language and Literature section is structured over six semesters and its aim is the study of Japanese language, literature and culture, offering both general knowledge and specialized knowledge. At the end of the three years of study, the students will have acquired the abilities needed for either postgraduate research, or a career in teaching, in the field of interpretation and translation, or in diplomacy. At present, the Japanese Language and Literature specialization grants opportunities of studying and perfecting oneself at foreign universities, in Europe and Japan. The specialization can be combined with Spanish as a segment B language. The curriculum comprises of courses of Spanish language (morphology, syntax, lexicology, and semantics), Spanish literature (studied chronologically), practical courses and optional courses meant to complete the study of the Spanish language: specialized Spanish, colloquial Spanish, South American literature and more.
