Sustainable Development in Process Engineering Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science Bucharest Program description The Sustainable Development in Process Engineering study program is designed to provide students with fundamental engineering competencies for the qualitative assessment and optimization of technological processes, with the objective of reducing their environmental impact and promoting sustainable industrial development. The curriculum focuses on the implementation of Best Available Techniques (BAT), environmental legislation, pollution prevention and control strategies, sustainable resource management, and the design of environmentally friendly materials and products.Students develop the knowledge and practical skills required to evaluate industrial processes, interpret and apply environmental regulations, implement innovative technologies for pollution reduction, and design sustainable engineering solutions. The program also emphasizes process simulation, eco-design, resource efficiency, circular economy principles, and the development of sustainable materials and production systems.
