FILM, PHOTOGRAPHY, MEDIA (AUDIOVISUAL COMMUNICATION: SCREENWRITING, MEDIA ADVERTISING, FILM STUDIES) Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Letters CRAIOVA Program description The study programme Film, Photography, Media (Audio-Visual Communication: Screenwriting, Media Advertising, Film Studies) aims at the adequate use of specific elements of audiovisual communication, film language, film studies and screenwriting; the analysis of film language as the foundation of an image-based culture/education; the production of advertising materials in the field of film making, film theory and film journalism; use of specific film writing techniques in the development of short and feature films, fiction and non-fiction, cinema and TV productions; the understanding of the social role of audiovisual language as a source of communication and source of artistic experiences; analysis of advertising functions and techniques as a form of communication.; the identification and use of sound and image processing technology; the artistic exploitation of technology, digital resources and digital image and sound processing software; the narrative interpretation of the reality based on editing techniques.; the analysis of editing functions in the generation of meaning and aesthetic significance; the understanding of the social role of audiovisual language as a source of communication and source of artistic experiences.Possible future job positions in accordance with COR (Romanian acronym - Romanian Classification of Occupations): advertising copywriter (bachelor's degree); director of photography; broadcast director, radio-TV producer.
