Food Product Engineering Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Horticulture CRAIOVA Program description The Food engineering study program prepares specialists who will have knowledge and skills regarding: identification, description and appropriate use of notions specific to food science and food safety; management of general engineering processes, operation of food industry facilities and equipment; supervision, management, analysis and design of food technologies from raw materials to finished product; new food product design, implementation and project management; production management, quality control of food products and implementation of marketing processes; management of technologies for the recovery of by-products and waste from the food industry and ensuring environmental protection. Graduates of the Food Products Engineering program will have professional perspectives according to the Romanian Occupations Code (COR): food industry expert engineer (214518); food industry engineer (214514); food industry inspector (214519); food products engineer designer (214516).
